Rear Dormer Loft Conversion With En-Suite

This was a standard Dormer loft conversion. Although, building the dormer the full width of the house isn’t aesthetically pleasing it does allow for a lot more usable space on the inside. As a result we were able to fit 2 very good sized bedrooms with a spacious shower room.

As per our clients’ request we used a warm deck roof system which adds a lot more U-value to the home, this is achieved by laying the insulation over the top of the flat roof joists. They also had LED spot lights installed which use only 25%-30% of the energy and last 15-25 times longer than the prior traditional bulbs.
