Loft Conversion | Sidney Road, Forest Gate

This L-shaped dormer includes a master bedroom and a shower room.

It’s different because the 2 rooms sit at different levels which is a nice feature. The client wanted his stair case to have solid cherry treads and also decided to change his existing staircase downstairs to match.

We used a special underfloor heating system that had pipes running through chipboard floorboards. These were also used on 2 walls in the bathroom as well as the floor. The roof was renewed in a fibre cement slate and we used lead on the flat roof, both of which will last for a very long time.
