Double Pitched Roof Dormer

This is loft conversion consists of 2 pitched roof dormers in order to allow for a spacious master bedroom with a wet room style en-suite. The steels for this job were very long and heavy so we had to use a crane to even move them. With good logistics and organisation this wasn’t a problem, and should never be.

There was also a small pediment roof at the front which we converted to a small bean bag area to help make the room feel bigger, this space also had doors leading into an eves storage area.

We tiled the wet-room and installed the suite and fittings which included an electric underfloor heating system. We installed new skirtings, architraves and doors left ready for the client to paint. New fire doors had to be fitted to all habitable rooms to meet fire regs at the time.
